One part of me says -- it does not matter. As far as web-app is concerned, Tomcat is a
state-of-the-art web container, like GlassFish.

Other part of me says -- of course, you should use GlassFish! On the pro side, you have
- With GlassFish you get Grizzly.
- A community that is willing to help you (You probably have that with Tomcat too).
- NetBeans + GlassFish makes a good fit.
- If and when you'd want to move to EJB, JMS, Adatpers etc. it will not be a new learning curve
  for you, at least as far as familiarity with GlassFish is concerned.
