Hi Kedar. My preference was to use an approach that didn't require altering the GF code. Since current GF builds are not compatible with the javaagent approach, I guess I'll have to consider making an update to GF after all. Above (Nov 7, 2007 8:18 PM) you indicated that an RFE be entered concerning the dynamic port issue, and doing something similar to the approach taken by the custom agent. I'd be happy to if you point me to instructions on how to do that. Meanwhile, I'd like to embark on making some local GF mods that might alleviate my inability to access GF JMX through a firewall. If you can contact me offline (curt A T 6sa.com) I'd appreciate some pointers to any code that might be involved. Thanks.
