Support for terracotta.
It would greatly increase current asynchron session replication performance and also allow for good performing synchron replication, that today is a missing feature due to performance problems..
Terracotta in GF is currently stopped by the fact that GF relies on a custom branch of tomcat that does not allow for terracotta to hook itself in.ยจ:

Perhaps by using terracotta , or at least allowing it to plug in could allow for good synchronized replication performce in V2.1 or V3 ?
