Which glassfish version/build? Others can then try to reproduce it.
Any error when running "java -jar glassfishxxx.jar"?
Do you see this everytime you run setup? It doesn't hurt to run setup multiple times.
Make sure the domain directory/files from previous setup are completely removed. If domain1 already exists, you can't create another domain with this name.
The line in setup.xml points to a failure in creating domain. You may want to try "ant -v -f setup.xml" to see more output. Also check if there is a setup.log file in the current dir (I seem to remember there is one).
