Hi, I got a similar result, IIRC If I Remember Correctly,
It worked on debian etch, and recently today I also installed it on Ubuntu.
1) $JAVA_HOME or $HOME_JAVA was a problem,
only related to ant. I got a reply from irc.freenode.net #glassfish.
if ant runs build.xml correctly and the $JAVA_HOME is correct and all versions of everything java is the same as expected, then
2) su root or su -s It was installed in my home directory but I think it was necessary to do this as root. again, => irc #glassfish so we can compare and troubleshoot the systems.
3) the ports of the oracle database and some other services had to be resetted, this was also a little bit strange on ubuntu, but we found it out.
what is your uname -a?
if you see this
C:\>
please type
C:\> ver
