Are you running Netbeans 6.0 latest builds? One possible cause might be lack of a required resource jdbc/sample. This was fixed last week in latest NetBeans builds.

An easy check would be to see of the the JDBC datasource referenced in the sample's persistence.xml is present on the GlassFish server.
