I agree. It would be as simple as that. But cluster profile is not only about running in production.
You wouldn't run cluster-aware domain if you don't need cluster and availability.
Given that, it is easy to extend the current profile mechanism to create a domain that is reasonably
tuned using custom profiles. In fact, this is what SailFin (sailfin.dev.java.net) uses.
