i am not promising anything but i think i am one proxy error away from getting this working... i basically followed my instux on ubuntu forums

kind like Jean-Francois Arcand's Blog but
added the following lines to the bottom of my apache2.conf file:
LoadModule proxy_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_proxy.so
LoadModule proxy_http_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_proxy_http.so
LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rewrite.so

i added a vh to glassfish, if you have not done so yet, check out:

when i beat the proxy error and i will document it all - this took longer than i expected....
