Is there any chance you could provide some sample code to get this to work with an application client. I am using hibernate on the server side for persistence. I already tried to setup persistence.xml but that would require (as far as I could see) a direct jdbc connection to the database which (in my view) seems to defeat the purpose and would not use the secondary cache etc.
