Your idea of templates is interesting as well. When I actually design this stuff, I will take some
hints from it. But frankly, I want to remove all the overlap between sun-specific descriptors
and domain.xml.
One of the things that we should keep in mind while we are at it is the ability to recreate a fully
configured application. Thus, if you deploy an application and tweak is post-deployment, then it
GlassFish should also provide a facility where the application is recreated by the server so
that it can be deployed on another GlassFish instance. This is probably what deployers look
for.
