The priority on this question has sort of increased for me. At first I was thinking
that I could get by with trying glassfish v2 for our project, but through an unfortunate
network-effect of other issues, I really cannot.

(using v2 would require my team to adopt Netbeans 5.5.1beta, which is not behaving
with SVN at the moment: http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=97489 )

Ideas welcomed.
