Hi Richard,

The bug was reported against a Solaris OS and may be OS-specific (in addition to being sporadic).
You should be safe if you replace the older class (MonitorableSelectorHandler) definition with the one that has the fix.
Of course if you are a customer or would become one, a proper patch should be issued soon.
