Hi Christoph
       The "Command multimode executed successfully." is coming from the
last command executed. If you don't execute any command then it means
no command executed and no error. Try executing a non existing command
like foo when in multimode and when you exit it will report a failure.
I agree that the message is not that useful, could you please file a RFE
to not print the message ?. Because you can execute any number of
commands in multimode and the success/failure depends only on the last
command executed which doesnot make any sense.
