I think you hit issue 7403. I have observed the link missing from IE 7
as well as firefox 2. Link shows correctly on firefox 3 and see monkey
brower.

The debug statement looks similar to issue 7510. It is under investigation.
As for support page, I have a blocking issue 7686, so I can't register
using Admin GUI yet.
Let's see if other engineers can answer your questions about GUI color,
layout, etc...
