Hi,

All the steps given in the application server documentation are understandable.

Thanks Yifeng and Anissa, I got it and now its working fine.

I tried with the same solution earlier but I wasn't able to execute it.

Thanks,

Visalakshi

Hi,

I am trying b28b.

If I deploy an application from Admin console, an error has occured.

I downloaded the same war file and tried client side deployment as well as serverside deployment, didn't see any errors. Could you post your error message?

I downloaded the hello.war from https://glassfish.dev.java.net/downloads/quickstart/hello.war and stored it in my directory.

In hello directory I am having images, meta-inf and web-inf dir. Inorder to click hello.war do I have to create, jar cvf hello.war * in bin dir or any other method is there to deploy hello dir without creating .war, please let me know.

if you want to do directory deployment, click Applications-->Web Applications--> from Deploy Web Application page, choose "Local packaged file or directory that is accessible from the Application Server" --> click "Browse folders" --> then pick the folder "hello" in your case , then deploy

it should work, give a  try please.

Thanks,
Visalakshi
