Martin,

Of cause, netbeans makes it easier. The way you deploy applications
within Glass fish and Sun application server is different from Tom Cat or any
other JSP or servlet application server. YOu have to follow the Java Blue print
to package the application. But as a beginner, you can just use Netbeans.

Martin, If you are using Glassfish or Sun application server 9, thenyou are better off using Netbeans 6.1 to help you package andcompile and deploy. From the example you've supplied, it seemsyou are using injections. eve

Hi experts,

this is my first J2EE application. I've tried Tomcat 6.x + openEJB... and now i'm trying with Glassfish.I'm developping with MyEclipse. Each time, i deployed the web apps to the autodeploy\ folder and try to run through out the web browser...I'm developping a web application which use a servlet as a controller. This controller has to connect to a ejb object (sessionbean) to validate and/or get the status of a user. I've tried several (you can't imagine) ways to get this application running... but it still failed.I'm sending you a zip file with the all classes.Please... help me!!thksMartin Renaud
