Michael,

We regularly certify more recent builds of TopLink Essentials for use in OC4J 10.1.3X. I believe there is a patch on Oracle's Metalink that provides a more recent certified version.

Hi Michael,

Toplink Essentials is being developed under GlassFish umbrella. It is
the JPA provider for Glassfish and RI for JPA 1.0. Toplink Essentials
binaries shipped with GlassFish are also available as a separate
download. However I do not think these separate binaries are officially
supported by Sun. I also need to qualify my last reply to you about
latest stable release of Toplink Essentials. Since Glassfish V2.1 is not
yet released, The binaries from V2.1 branch can not be considered as
officially released yet. You want to get Toplink Essentials binaries
from V2UR1 to get fix for this issue from an official release.

As far as integrating these binaries with Oracle Appserver is concerned
and support for them on it, please wait till some one from Oracle answers.

Thanks,
Mitesh
