Yes, like the Java EE platform as a whole, the vendors agree on the
specifications
and compete by each building their own implementation. From a
developer perspective,
your EJB 3.0 application is guaranteed to run on any compatible
implementation.
Some ways vendors compete are : price, performance, value-added features
such
as GUI configuration tools, quality of documentation, etc. You can
