Folks,
We are in the homestretch. A handful of stopper issues remain but we
anticipate these will be addressed in the next two days.
Our plan is to create a 3.1 branch this Thursday *afternoon* at 2PM PST.
This will allow Snjezana to address some required Update Center changes on
the 3.1 branch to ensure the images point to the correct publishers for
the release.
The Thursday night build will be promoted as Release Candidate 1.
If you are working on one of the stopper issues please integrate by
2PM PST Thursday. If you miss the 2PM deadline you will need to
integrate to both the trunk and the 3.1 branch.
The absolute cutoff for RC1 content is 11:59PM PST Thursday, January 27th.

Issues that will not be addressed in 3.1 should be downgraded or excluded
now.
If you are aware of potential stopper issues that will not be addressed
in time for RC1 please contact Nazrul and myself ASAP.
It is important that we provide timely feedback to the doc team. Several
docs are currently out for review. If you are a reviewer please ensure
you meet the review deadline for providing feedback. The following
