I *finally* realized I could go to the JVM Settings page in the admin
console, turn on debugging, set suspend=y, and restart the server (a
handy link pops up when you save the settings, at least in v3.X) all
in one place. I used to stop the server, fire up emacs to edit
domain.xml, and then restart with the --debug flag for this. Since I'm
usually fiddling in the admin console anyway when I decide I need to
debug something, that's very handy.
