Please print out what exactly is the objectNameStr that you pass to saveBeanAttributes() and the error you are getting.
That objectNameStr should be something like:
v3:pp=/domain/resources,type=connector-connection-pool,name=MyPoolName

I did that, actually, and got this:

objectNameStr = v3:pp=/domain/resources,type=connector-connection-pool,name=ConsoleTest

which looks like what you have.  The object does not exist, though, as I'm trying to create a new one.
If you are about to create it, then of course it doesn't exist.   You shouldn't be calling saveBeanAttributes().
You can just include shared/editPageButtons.inc  which  depending on the parameter,  create or update attributes for you.   We have many pages doing that.
Take a look at  v3/admingui/security/src/main/resources/jacc/*  or v3/admingui/jdbc-gui/src/main/resources/jdbcResource*.jsf,   it is doing exactly what you want to do.

I think we should take this offline as i don't think anyone on the dev alias care much about this :)

thanks

You can bring up jconsole or the html adapter  to see if  such object exists.

What's the URL for the HTML adapter?
