yes, indeed that works now.

1.9.9 allows one I believe to replace the SSLImplementation with the
following command line

-Dcom.sun.grizzly.ssl.auth=want|need
-Dcom.sun.grizzly.ssl.sslImplementation=class_name
as explained in this bug report
