Hi All,
We updated the FindBugs version to the latest 1.1.3 yesterday. The newer
FindBugs version has enhanced BugDetectors, resulting in higher number
of bugs being reported - bugs which were not being detected earlier.
Checkout the 'News' section at
http://findbugs.sourceforge.net/ to see
the changes in the latest version.
The number of high priority warnings has again jumped over the 2000 mark
(see
https://glassfish.dev.java.net/quality/fullreport.html).
Please review the warnings in your area, and let me know if you'd like
to exclude (filter out) some known issues that you will not be fixing,
or third party code that you will not be touching in the near future, so
that we can produce a report that concentrates on the bugs that will be
fixed.
