Earlier today I ran Quicklook ("QuirkLook") successfully on two
machines (Mac OS X, PowerPC and Intel).
Tonight both machines fail--one with the same (unmodified) source and
another with barely-modified source. But its QuickLook itself that's
the problem. I did "rm -rf appserv-tests" and checked it out fresh,
just in case. I made a new domain. No luck. I lose. QuirkLook
wins--again.
HOW CAN WE HAVE A DEVELOPMENT PROCESS WHERE WE CANT EVEN RELY ON THE
TEST SUITE to work from one day to the next? I'm not
exaggerating...this has gone on for *years*.
The cruel irony is that our process *requires* me to run QuickLook
before committing.
