Hello All,
We are reaching MileStone 2 (M2) completion for GlassFish V2 tonight.
At a high level here is how we did in terms of fixing bugs for M2:
GlassFish Issue tracker: 13 P2s, 5 P3s Fixed
Sun internal Bugster : 49 P2s, 41 P3s Fixed
Forward porting 8.2 bugs: 93 P2s Fixed
(BTW: Bugs are still being fixed today, so the above numbers will improve)
This is the first time we have tried fixing bugs during development
milestones and a *BIG THANKS* to everyone for this effort. However, we
were unable to make the bug fixing criteria for M2

completely. Since we have so many features still to come in for this
release (V2), we feel that it does not make sense to delay this
milestone to get to our M2 completion criteria. So in the interest of
making progress on the features, we are moving forward and starting
MileStone 3 (M3)
*GlassFish and Sun Internal CVS repositories will be opened up for
regular feature checkins for M3 (and bugs fixes) soon after the
promotion tomorrow. **Please wait for an e-mail notification from me on
that.*
