This problem is unrelated to the Felix shell bind exception. The bug
that was filed for that is a duplicate of 12285.

I suspect that the problem here is that you have a ~/.asadminpass file
with credentials that are different that those for your DAS or for your
instance. It may be that some of these commands are printing misleading
error messages when they fail due to authentication failures. If you run
the commands with AS_DEBUG=true, you would be able to see if this is
indeed an authentication failure.
