Based on his comment, it looks like the change was made to support
better an HTML client, which, to be honest, is lower on my list of
priorities. HTML 5 is supposed to make forms and "alternate" verbs play
nicely, fwiw. In the meantime, I'd rather have "better" semantics
around the verbs, which assumes, of course, that my definition of better
is correct. I'll wait for Paul's input before I do anything about that.
