I´ve downloaded the samples from
https://glassfish-samples.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=5214&expandFolder=5214&folderID=0,
but when i try to open the JPA/Criteria example in NetBeans 6.8 and run it I
get the following message:

I tried downloading GlassFish v3 for Windows myself to install and use it
from "C:\glassfishv3" instead of using the NetBeans 6.8 built-in one. But
after I open the "glassfish-v3-windows.exe" installer, it extracts the
necessary files, launches java environment and a window appears, saying it's
"initializing" (as in the attached image). But then this window disappear
without any alerts or messages, and all i have left is an empty
C:/glassfishv3 folder (no files there).

What should I do?
