Hi,
I'm considering the use of GenericJMS with Weblogic 10.3 to connect to,
Websphere MQ and Tibco EMS. I wonder if anybody has done this yet and if
so do you have any examples to help me get started?
If possible this is the way I would like to use the adapter;
1. Create a central JNDI repository for all queue managers and queues in
LDAP (I've done this already)
2. Configure the GenericJMS adapter in a fairly generic fashion, i.e a
config I can deploy to any of my weblogic servers without change for
WMQ/EMS if possible.
3. Have MDB's specify the JNDI entries of the queue manager/queue to
receive messages.
My understanding is that for inbound messages, the activation spec in
the MDB is passed to the adapter, which in turn uses that info to get
messages to deliver to the MDB?
I'm not too clear on outbound communications, I'm guessing I will need
to create connection factories in the resource adapter config for those?
Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated, I'll also be happy to
provide a guide that could be placed on the site once I get everything
working.
Thanks in advance,
Martin
