Thank you for making a quick build available so soon after my bugreport.
However, we are hesitant to use this build in the next release of our
product because of the apparent volatility of the release:
- only an uncompressed JAR file has been made available
- there is no proper binary and source distribution (not even a weekly
build, as the 1.2 branch is not included in the weekly builds)
- there is no mention of this new release in any location other than two
mailing lists
- the release is not marked as 'stable'
Furthermore, because of the apparent lack of activity within the project,
we fear that the next serious (stable) release might take months, if there
ever will be one at all.
Would it be possible to schedule a stable build in the near future? (note
that the latest stable release v1.2.2 dates from November 2007, more than
a year ago).
