Use of announcements -- Re: [Fwd: Example of encoding XML infosets as fast infoset documents]

I believe that mail to the announce mailing list won't work. You should
use the announcement tool, which as a consequence will...

  - mail everybody in the announcement mailing list
  - archive the announcement so it is
    -- available through the web interface
    -- available as RSS feeds.
      --- which are then cached, aggregated, etc, etc, specifically,
shown in the announcements bucket of the Java WS & XML community.

I just asked the Java.Net folks to add the fi RSS feed to the list of
feeds that go into the Java WS/XML aggregator (75.rss) and JWSDP
aggregator (76.rss).

I could submit the announcement, but it is best if you do it.
