Hello experts,

My name is Jeremy Bauer. I am the EJB Container Architect for the IBM
WebSphere Application Server. I'm also responsible for managed beans,
resource injection, and container integration with JPA. In addition, I'm
a committer on the Apache BVAL (bean validation) project and commiter and
PMC member on the Apache OpenJPA project.

I'm particularly interested in deprecation of EJB entity beans and
JAX-RPC, Platform as a Service enablement, and further simplification of
the EJB programming model.

I've been mostly keeping up with the public mailing lists and now I'm
looking forward to the opportunity to work with you all!

Thank you everybody for the introductions.

(The next time, I'll be more explicit in asking about introductions
only, without any proposals :)).

Two reminders:
a) if there are members of your company who wish to be "lurkers" to the
expert group email, they should subscribe to the users email list or to
view the activity on the expert list through the archives. Currently
only emails sent to the users alias directly are archived in the
corresponding archive.

b) JCP mailing list is to be used only for communications that are
restricted to expert group members, e.g to post conference call phone
numbers (when we need a phone discussion) and conference ids. All
technical discussions should be done on the java.net list.

My next email will start the actual work.

Best,
-marina
