Title Block tab of the Page Setup tab

Overview

Use the Title Block tab of the Page Setup tab of the Layouts Options page to enter information for the title block. The header will appear at the top of the page while the footer will appear at the bottom of the page. The legend will appear immediately above the footer.

Screen Elements

Show Header on or Show Footer on list

The list of pages on which the header or footer appears.

These are the available options:

• First page: Displays the header or footer only on page 1.
• Last page: Displays the header or footer only on the last page of the entire diagram.
• All pages: Displays the header or footer on every page of the diagram.
• No pages: Hides the header or footer.

Header and Footer area

Show section borders option

Select to show lines dividing each section. Selecting this option while editing the header or footer content can help with advanced configuration.

Add Section button

Click to add a section to the header or footer.

Delete Section button

Click to delete a section from the header or footer. The section where the cursor is currently focused will be deleted.

Increase Section Size button

Click to increase the width of the section where the cursor is currently focused.

Decrease Section Size button

Click to decrease the width of the section where the cursor is currently focused.

Font Family list

Enables you to customize the font of text associated with the header or footer.

Size field

Select the font size of the text associated with the header or footer.

Color list

Enables you to customize the color of text associated with the header or footer.

Font Style buttons

Enable you to customize the font style of text associated with the header or footer. Use these buttons to make text bold, italicized, or underlined.

Alignment buttons

Enable you to customize the alignment of the text associated with the header or footer. You can choose left, center, or right alignment.

Increase Indent button

Select to indent the text associated with the header or footer.

Decrease Indent button

Select to outdent the text associated with the header or footer.

Undo button

Select to undo the latest action.

Redo button

Select to redo the last action that you selected Undo for.

Image button

Select to add an image to the header or footer.

Variable list

Select to add a variable to the header or footer, such as {Data Date} or {Page Number}.

To add a variable, you must select the variable from this list. You cannot edit, copy, or paste variables on the editor. To delete a variable, you must select the entire variable in the editor, including the start and close brackets, for example, {Project Start}.

Variable entries in the Variable list are translated. However, variable displayed in the configuration area are always in English.

Add button

Click to add the selected variable to the current cursor location. You can repeat variables and add unlimited variables.

Getting Here

From the Create or Open Timescaled Logic Diagram dialog box or the Create or Open Gantt Diagram dialog box, click Options. Click the Page Setup tab, then click the Title Block tab.
