How to Create Process Templates

What to do:
1.

Select Manager > Workflow > Process Templates.
The Process Template mask is displayed.
1. To change to Insert mode click .
1. Click the Process field and enter the name Purchase Requisition.
An ID is automatically assigned to the process.
1. Processes can be given the same name because they can be identified by their IDs. However, it is recommended to give processes a clear and unique name to avoid difficulties finding them in the system!
Click the Description field and enter a the descriptive text Approval process for internal purchase requisition.
1. In the Responsible for template field click .
A selection menu is displayed.
1. Select a user ID.
1. To save the entry click .

  Clicking on the Process Template mask will display the Process Template in the Grapher View window of the Workflow Editor.
  Alternatively, you can start the Workflow Editor with Start > Workflow > Workflow Editor. Select File > Open Process and choose Process Templates from the selection menu. Choose the process template Purchase Requisition from the Process Selection list.
If clicking on does not start the Workflow Editor, check the system environment variable JAVA HOME in your Windows system settings. Make sure you have set the correct variable name, value, and path to the directory, where the variable is located on your system.
When opening the Workflow Editor you may receive the following error message: Internal presentation mode is not yet implemented.
If this is the case, select Manager > Configure system > Other parameters.
Click the Sections/parameters tab of the Configuration mask and change the value of the EDB-WFL-EDT-MODE parameter to external.
