How to Delete the Variant Wildcard

	What to do:
	Select Start > Bill of Materials > Item Variants.
	Select the variant wild card ART-1200-V Ornamental Ring (variant).
	Select Open list of variants (VAR) > List from the context menu.
	Select all entries in the mask.
	Select Delete from the context menu.
	Close the list.
	Select the tab Definition in Variant management with the left mouse button and repeat steps 4 and 5 for the contents.
	Select the In parts tab with the left mouse button.
	Select the item ART-1000-B EP Ball Pen.
	Click the Form button. The Item mask is opened.
	Select the tab Bill of Material with the left mouse button.
	Select the variant wild card ART-1200-V Ornamental Ring (variant).
	Select Delete from the context menu.
	Empty the trash.
	Select the Variant management mask again and open ART-1200-V.
	Select Delete from the context menu.
	Now, the variant wild card is deleted.
