How to Assign a Variant Wildcard to a Default Variant

	What to do:
	In order to work through this example, you must have completed the example Assign Items to a Default Variant.
	Select Start > Bill of Material > Default Variants.
	Select the default variant Deluxe Model.

	Select Items (Variants) from the context menu.
	In the Items to Default Variant mask, select the item variant ART-1200-A Ornamental Ring (silver).
	Select Update from the context menu.
	Click the VNo. This field is used to enter the variant wildcard number which is assigned to the item variant.
	Click the button . A list of all variant wildcards is opened.
	Select the variant wildcard ART-1200-V Ornamental Ring (variant).

	Save the entry with the button .
