How to Assign Items to a Default Variant

	What to do:
	In order to work through this example, you must have completed the example Define a Default Variant.
	Select Start > Items. The item mask is opened.
	Select the item ART-1200-A Ornamental Ring (silver).

	Select References > Define Default Variants from the context menu.
	In the Product - Default Variants mask, switch to Insert mode with the button .

	In the field Name click the button . It indicates, that another selection mask is available.
	In the Preferred Variants mask, select the default variant Deluxe Model.
	Select Take entry from the context menu.
	Save the entry with the button .
	Repeat steps 2 to 8 for the main item ART-1000-B EP Ball Pen which contains the variant wildcard.
