How to Define Identical Items

	What to do:
	In order to work through this example as displayed, you must have completed the example Prepare Items for Variants.
	Select Start > Bill of Materials > Items Variants.
	Select the variant wildcard ART-1200-V Ornamental Ring (variant).
	Select the tab Identical Items with the left mouse button.
	Change to Insert mode with the button .
	Click the field Position.
	Enter the item number 100 or accept the default item number.
	Click the field Item Number.
	Click the button .
	In the Items mask, select the item ART-1201 Protective Cover.
	Select Take entry from the context menu.
	Save the entry with the button .
