Configuration of Update Where-Used Function

The Update Where-Used function updates the Where-Used report. But before it can be used, it has to be configured first.

In Agile e6, open the Choose an object mask by clicking the Choose the repository object to browse button .

In the field List of entities and their relations, enter EDB-TXT-WHR-USE.

From the Entity column, select the entity EDB-TXT-WHR-USE and click Browse.
The Where Used mask is opened.

Column	Description
Action	By default, this checkbox is not selected. To make the Update Where-Used function available, the checkbox has to be selected for the wanted object relation in this list.
Main Type	Defines the Text Management object. GLS Glossary INS Instance TPL Template
Object 1 Type	Defines the object value that should be updated.
IW	State In Work. When selected, the respective object will be updated when it's in state In Work.
AP	State Approved. When selected, the respective object will be updated when it's in state Approved.
RL	State Released. When selected, the respective object will be updated when it's in state Released.
RV	State Revisioning When selected, the respective object will be updated when it's in state Revisioning.

You can either select the entire list to set it into edit mode, or select a specific line to set it into edit mode by clicking the button .

To activate the Update Where-Used function, you have select the checkbox in the Action column for the respective object relation.
