To work through this example, you must have created an item (see: Item Management) |

Select and select the item Ballpen |
 |
Click on the BOM tab
and click 
to change to Insert mode |
 |

In the field select
T for text. The Item Number field is filled in automatically with a Null-Item. |
 |
Scroll to the Text Name field and select the text instance INS-001. |
 |
To save the entry click  .
