How to Create Structure Requirements

What to do:

Select Start > Requirements > Base Requirements.
The Base Requirement mask is opened.

Search for BAS-900009.

Select the Structure tab.

Requirements are build up hierarchically, therefore, new text or structure requirements should be assigned to the base requirement. However, it is possible to build a cross-link to existing requirements. These requirements can be selected by clicking .

To insert a new structure requirement click the Insert Structure Req. button.
The Structure Requirements mask is opened.

Enter STR-900073 in the Requirement Number field.

Enter Usability in the Name field.

To save the entry click .
The Structure Requirement mask is closed and the newly created structure requirement is added to the structure of the base requirement.

Repeat steps 4 - 7 and enter the following values:

Requirement Number	Name
STR-900096	Energy
STR-900087	Geometry

Multilevel Structure:

Select STR-900073.

Select the Structure tab.

To insert a new structure requirement click the Insert Structure Req. button.
The Structure Requirement mask is opened.

Enter STR-900082 in the Requirement Number field.

Enter Correct Cutting in the Name field.

To save the entry click .
The Structure Requirement mask is closed and the newly created structure requirement is added to the structure.

Repeat steps 3 - 6 and enter the following values:

Requirement Number	Name
STR-900083	Preserve general cutting process
STR-900084	Robustness in Handling
STR-900085	Environmental conditions
