How to Create Text Requirements

What to do:

Select Start > Requirements > Structure Requirements.
The Structure Requirement mask is opened.

Search for STR-900082.

Select the Structure tab.

Requirements are build up hierarchically, therefore, new text or structure requirements should be assigned to the base requirement. However, it is possible to build a cross-link to existing requirements. These requirements can be selected by clicking .

To insert a new text requirement click the Insert Text Req. button.
The Text Requirements mask is opened.

Enter TRQ-900068 in the Requirement Number field.

Enter Exact Measurement in the Name field.

Click in the Source field and select External / Customer from the selection menu.

Enter Expected shape of stone to be cut must be captured precisely. in the Content field.

To save the entry click .
The Text Requirement mask is closed and the newly created structure requirement is added to the structure of the base requirement.

Repeat steps 4 - 7 and enter the following values:

Requirement Number	Name	Source	Content
TRQ-900069	Transfer of Measures	External / Customer	Error free transfer measured shape of cutting device.
TRQ-900070	Correct Positioning	External / Customer	Stone must be positioned correctly in cutting device.
