This function returns the keyboard code assigned in <keydef.h> for function keys, and the corresponding ASCII code for keys of the alphanumeric keypad.

In case of a double click per current unit of time the function returns the keyboard code as negative value.

Attention! This function is not supported any more in DataView version 4.1.
