You can call this function in a nested structure, i.e. several calls of the function dal_mes_xof require the same number of calls of the function dal_mes_xon in order to enable message output again.

If message output is disabled, any calls of the functions dal_mes_wri and dal_mes_inp will have to effect.

The output of DataView data base error messages will not be suppressed by disabling the message output.
