The format string applies to fields of the types integer, float, and money. If the irst character in the string is a minus, the field content will be positioned flush-left. A numerical character describes the number of digits after the decimal point for field of the type float and money.

Example: format strings:

• string > 4 < for float field of the length 10: |12.3456___|
• string > -4 < for float field of the length 10: |___12.3456|
• string > 2 < for money field of the length 10: |1234,00___|
• string > -2 < for money field of the length 10: |___1234,00|
