How to Assign an Operation to a Process Step

The example previously described in the document Define an Operation is a prerequisite for this example.

Select Start > Process planning > Process steps.
The Process Steps form is opened.

Use the search function to display the Process Step PRST-KUOPME-001.

Select the tab Operations with the left mouse button.

Switch to Insert mode with the button .

Switch to the I/O-field, click on the button and select Output.

Click the Operations No. field.

Click the button .
The operations list is opened.

Use the search function to find the OP-62002 document.

Highlight this entry.

Select Take entry from the context menu.
The list is closed and the entry is transferred.

To save the entry click the button .

Repeat steps 4 through 10 with the following values:

I/O	Input
Operation	OP-62001

The list should now look as follows:
