How to Assign an Item to a Process Step

 

What to do:
1 In this example, we are going to use the item Ball pen, upper tube (drawn). If it does not exist already, please create this item with the following data:
Item Number ART-1500-T
Name Ball pen, upper tube (drawn)

Select Start > Process planning > Process Steps.
The Process Steps form is opened.

2 Use the search function to display the Process Step PRST-KUOPME-001.
3 Select the tab Item with the left mouse button.
4 Switch to Insert mode with the button .

Enter 10 in the Position Number (PNo.) field.
6 Switch to the Item field.

Click the button .
The Items list is opened.

Use the search function to find the ART-1500-T document.
You may also create a new item as has been described in the Item Management section!
9 Select the entry.

Select Take entry from the context menu.
The list is closed and the entry is transferred.
To save the entry click the button .
Note All other fields are filled in automatically and cannot be edited!
