How to Assign Resources to an Operation

 

What to do:
In this example, we are going to use the item called sheet metal. If it does not exist already, please create this item with the following data:
Item Number 62310-ST
Name sheet metal
Unit PCs
Material ST-002

Select Start > Process Planning > Operations.
The Operations form is opened.
2 Switch to Search mode and find operation OP-62001.

Right-click the form and select References > Resources (Tools and Utilities).
The Assigned Items (Tools) mask is opened.
 

4 Switch to Insert mode with the button .

Select Utilities from the selection menu of the Resource Name field.

Click the Item No. field.

7.

Click the button .
The Items list is opened.

8. Select item 62310-ST from the list.
9 Save the entry with the button .
Note Users may enter a generic comment for the resource in the Reason field.
