Multi-Project Access Rights

Assign a Project Manager to a top-level Project

	As a prerequisite for this example, you must have completed the example Create a Project Manager!
	Log in to Agile e6 as USER-1.
	Select Manager > Permissions > Role Model > Job Functions. The Job Function mask is opened.
	To change to insert mode click .
	In the Identifier field enter Job-1.
	In the User field click . The User List (No Insert) is opened.
	Select USER-1 from the User List.
	In the with Role field click . The Roles list is opened.
	Select the role EDB-PRJ-MNG (Project Manager) from the Roles list.
	In the Valid Until field enter the date 06/30/2005.
	In the Project field click . The Project list is opened.
	Select Project-1 from the Project list.
	To save the entry click .
	USER-1 is assigned to Project-1 via the job function Job-1.
	It is also possible to assign a group instead of a single user to a project!
	Please note that the access on projects and subprojects expires with the validity date defined for the job function!
