Define a required Role with Privileges

	As a prerequisite for this example, you must be logged in to Agile e6 as a role manager (EDB-ROLE-MNG) or as a project manager (EDB-PROJECT-MNG)! Only users assigned to these roles have the privilege to create and administrate the roles required for a project!
	Roles can either be created by the DataView manager (even before a top-level project is created) or by a manager assigned to a subordinate project within a project structure (role EDB-PROJECT-MNG must be assigned to this manager)!
	In the example the role Designer is created.
	Select Manager > Permissions > Role Model > Roles. The Role mask is opened.

	To change to insert mode click .
	In the Role field enter Designer.
	To save the entry click .
	Select the Privileges tab.
	Click in the Privilege column. The Privileges list is opened.
	Select the privilege EDB-ART-INS.
	To save the entry click .
	The privilege to create a new item (EDB-ART-INS) is assigned to the role Designer.
	Any of the available privileges can be assigned to the role Designer.
